The most important day of the Irish Calendar 17th March is almost upon us, in true Irish fashion we’ll make a weekend of it.
Friday 16th – tribute to the man himself FR. TED, featuring some lovely girl’s! Come as your favourite priest or Mrs Doyle go on ya will ya will ya will…… check out Fr Ted episode’s on you tube if ya haven’t a clue what we are talking about.
Saturday 17th – St Patrick’s Day serving full Irish Breakfast from 9am, kicking off our days entertainment at 9am is the Travellers (once were Hobnail boots), for lunch time we will have good Irish tucker and Sean O Brien will be banging out the tunes in a kin to Chirsty Moore.
Sunday – bloody Sunday! – seen as we killed we’ll cure ya with the best bloody Mary you see this side of the pacific ocean – full Irish Breakfast or/and a pint of Murphy’s, Traditional Irish music session with Shin Dig from 2pm (this is one not to be missed) and dare I say a sing a long. We might even find some Irish dancers.
Sure go on, we might as well have a practice day on the 10th that’s the Saturday before, The Shenanigans are dropping in after playing Harvest, they’ll show us what to expect belting out the tunes and the slagging from 9 to midnight.
